Creating digital vision boards are a great sustainable way to create vision boards. If you aren’t familiar with vision boards and how to use them, check out this post with how I use vision boards. At the bottom of this post, is a video tutorial on how to create a Canva Vision Board.
I have a free template available for moms that sign up for my vision board challenge.
Why a vision board at all?
I’m one of those people that dabbles with woo (I believe in the power of alignment and mindset), but at the end of the day I’m all about taking action. I think a lot of people think that a vision board is putting what you want on a piece of paper and waiting on magic to make it happen.
For me, I look at vision boards as a a visual reminder of our goal setting. Goal setting is so that we can take small steps (take action) to reach what we want to achieve. I hope that for most of that means that we are sharing our goals and making the positive impact we were meant to make.
Goal setting helps you turn some of your own negative programming that holds you back around by flipping the focus from I can’t t0 – I CAN & this is how.
Digital Vision Boards
Digital vision boards are a great alternative to the crafty versions that require tape, magazines, and glue (and just a general desire to be crafty – that is not me). You can also create your own fun graphics that reflect your vision for the vision board – get it.
I gave you a quick overview in my post about how to create a digital vision board.
Vision Boards Aren’t Just for Beach Houses
I know that you hear a lot of talking about using vision boards and beach houses or sports cars, but that isn’t what vision boards are all about. In fact, in my vision board challenge, I ask women to create a vision board to use as a self-care menu. You get to make it what you want. There are no limits – see the pun there 😉 ?
You can make this as complex as you want and Canva isn’t the only tool to create a digital vision board, but it is great resource for the beginner because all of the graphics and images you might need are installed already.
You can also upload your own photos to make it even more personal. Don’t forget words that inspire you and to create something that really resonates.
The role of the vision board is to create a view to what life will be like after you reach your goal or take the action you’ve been putting off doing.
